Rock Opera Strikes Back.

It's a linkish sort of day, and so I present to you...
Repo! The Genetic Opera.
Anthony Stewart Head, Ogre from Skinny Puppy, Paris freakin' Hilton and Joan Jett on guitars at at least one point. It's directed by the guy who did three out of the four Saw films (and whoever wrote Head's autocues at the one awards ceremony where they previewed this thing needs his head examined, because he forgot that Saw was a Whannell/Wan creation first and foremost, but never mind), plus the writer gets into the acting thing after nearly a decade behind the scenes and he's good. The whole thing's kind of 'steampunk cabaret', and Anthony Stewart Head, when doing actual rock/metal stuff with a bit of music producer clean-up, kicks serious arse (it beats the hell out of his folk attempts, which in and of themselves weren't bad, but this is better).
Watch the trailer. Watch the clips. It's made more or less entirely of awesome, and I can't wait 'til it comes out. *glee*
