Writer's Block Is Now A Good Thing

I have cube o'inspiration!
Okay, so The Writer's Block is a trifle more unwieldy than I'd imagined - literally a cube-shaped book, 6cm on a side - but will still fit delightfully into my handbag. (I have a very bulky handbag.) Still, it's basically writer's prompts of all stripes that I can just open up at will and boom! Something to write about. Or at least, to try to write about. It cost me about £6, so I'm gleeful.
I also got the second book in George RR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series. I know I'm probably slower about this than
tithenai would have liked, but ... you know, money issues and whatnot. I have it now, and it should last me awhile, what with rereads and the like. Which is good because next week's paycheque is going to be sparse because of flu and most of it is going to have to go to household expenses so ... you know, money at a tightness just now. But at least there's entertainment in the meantime.
(Stupid flu.)
In any case, I'm still wretchedly tired but gleeful over the new and shinies. I am swilling down caffeine and then I will probably go out with my cube o'inspiration and see what a flip-through nets me. I've already got a couple of ideas that I want to put to 'paper' so we'll see how that all goes, no? I'm looking forward to actually doing some writing ... once I wake up a bit.
