thessalianStill not feeling 100%, but going to at least attempt work anyway. Not sure I should, but there's the tiny dilemma where my agency expects me to be psychic.
Seriously, yesterday in reply to my email basically saying, "This sucks at least as much for me as for you; sorry for the inconvenience but I just cannot come in today as I got no sleep due to being monumentally ill", I got a bit of understanding at last. However, what I also got was, "Please let us know today if you won't be able to be in tomorrow so that the people at this bunch won't think you're off sick all the time when it can't be helped".
But ... how am I supposed to know for sure how I'm going to feel on any given day? I don't get it. I'm feeling a lot more gribbly in the stomach than I expected to today, and sitting upright is actually kind of painful, so I'm at least going to be late... But if I really couldn't make it into work because I was optimistic about "I'll feel well enough to travel in the morning" and I turned out to be wrong ... how on earth should that prevent me from calling in sick if I need to?
So dilemma. I'm not sure I should be going in, but I didn't tell my agent 'in time', and so since I don't really want her yelling at me again ... I dunno what to do.
[Edit: Solution - tell temp agency that I will be late, go to bed for another 45 minutes or so, see how I feel after that. If feeling confident, attempt Tube. If that doesn't work out, apologise profusely but at least I tried.]

I tried one, the guy called me exactly once, for something that same day at like 6am when I told him I work till 330 am and to please not call me that early. I think he wrote me off then, because I never heard anything more from him.
