Career Moves?

I caved and did that career meme thing. Some of the responses? I just don't get.
1. Director of Photography
dodgyhoodoo posits that this is the closest thing you can get to 'Professional ST', as they are the ones that achieve the look of the piece. So maybe?
2. Art / Music Therapist
This I could see, actually.
3. Set Designer
I used to do this sort of thing in high school. I could do that, sure.
4. Costume Designer
See above.
5. Clergy
What the hell? No pun intended...
6. Sport Psychology Consultant
Great, if I knew sport from a hole in a wall...
7. Psychologist
This makes a certain amount of sense, on the whole...
8. Genetic Counselor
Yeah.
ceilingsarecool took the words right out of my mouth - "Don't breed."
9. Website Designer
Well, at least I have some experience with this one...
10. Special Effects Technician
Yeah; I had a conversation with
dodgyhoodoo recently in which I said I didn't think I'd be big into that job, unlike him, who'd adore it.
11. Desktop Publisher
I suppose, yes. Document design's a fun thing.
12. Actor
Possibly...
13. Gerontologist
...Um?
14. Animator
I don't draw nearly well enough for this.
15. Cartoonist / Comic Illustrator
See above.
16. Fashion Designer
I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was younger. I kind of grew out of it.
17. Psychiatrist
And again, this one makes sense.
18. Director
Another one I got into in high school and my one abortive uni year.
19. Multimedia Developer
Not really sure what that's even supposed to mean. Buzzword careers are not my thing.
20. Adoption Counselor
I could definitely do this job.
21. Professor
Teacher with pretensions yay!
22. Child and Youth Worker
Again, I could do this job.
23. Makeup Artist
And another one I did in high school! I did have fun with that, I have to admit. Fun with latex - unless that comes under the heading of 'Special Effects'. Or smut, depending on your mental associations with latex...
24. Marriage and Family Therapist
I suppose I could speak a lot from personal experience, if couched in nicely vague phrasing...
25. Magician
...Huh?!?
26. School Counselor
I'm seeing a pattern here... Anyone else see it yet?
27. Casting Director
And another continuation of the pattern, and something else I did predominantly at uni.
28. Graphic Designer
Maybe, maybe not.
29. Comedian
Now this one's interesting - various people have told me I'd be good at stand-up. Which, y'know, maybe, but...
30. Artist
Can't. Draw.
31. Addictions Counselor
...Yeah. Alt.pot.kettle.black, given nicotine, caffeine, FFXI...
32. Computer Animator
A different kind of pattern emerging here...
33. Critic
As the only person in my Theatre Studies A-level course who got an A out of the teacher in about five years with a rather impressive critical review of the play we'd gone to see? I can see that, yes.
34. Print Journalist
Finally, something that actually involves writing in some way!
35. Communications Specialist
...Okay...
36. Market Research Analyst
Oh gods, that sounds horrific.
37. Musician
I'd need to pick up the saxophone again. As I haven't played the thing in fifteen years, I don't think I'd do very well.
38. Furniture Finisher
...So confused...
39. Translator
I suppose that could work, if I brushed up on the languages I know. I seem to have a good ear for them, anyway.
40. Craftsperson
I must have clicked a 'work with hands' thing as a 'yay!'...
Common themes: Detailwork and giving advice / giving instruction / bossing people about. So ... yeah. I'm a control freak. But then, we knew this.
Oh, and
dodgyhoodoo is too sweet to me sometimes. He came home today with a copy of Sims 2 Bon Voyage! Whee! Can't wait to try it out! *bounce*
I have RP, and Sims, and a lovely fiance, and my mood has much improved.
