PSP should not stand for Portable Screen Porn!

I've been looking at available UMD video titles for my PSP. 'Cos, you see, it's neat and everything, but without games and other things, really it's just a shiny thing. I prefer my iPod for music and such, and I don't own a camera so pictures? Not so much. I think dodgyhoodoo had more fun with it last night than I did, mostly because he finally got to blow up worms after I'd had so much fun with it on the PC (I like Worms World Party better, though; more weapons).

Anyway, so I'm looking for UMD videos; stuff I can watch on the commute that's not too long etc. Preferably TV series, but shorter movies are good too (I've already got my eye on Saw, Resident Evil, Serenity and Donnie Darko, which are on sale at Virgin along with Akira, Ghost in the Shell and a few others about which I do not care. Also considering The Dark Crystal and Advent Children. Too many shinies and not enough money). Anyway, I've a list of things I'd like, but maybe not in the same month that I shelled out for the shiny in the first place. I just want to get one or two things, preferably at decent prices, that'll last out the month. This suggests to me TV series.

There are few TV series on UMD. They have Doctor Who, which is nice, and some Battlestar Galactica, but the rest of it is The Royle Family, The Office and Transformers (no, I don't know why). And that's about it.

However, they have porn. I don't know why they have porn, but they have porn. I'm not even talking about that apparantly slutty anime tentacle rape porn thing that's not Legend of the Overfiend. I'm talking table dancing and "Desperately Naughty Housewives". Who watches porn on a PSP?

Hideous thoughts about the people I share my commute with. Urgh.

Oh, yeah, and Great FA Cup Goals. So men get sex and football and what do I get? SKEEZY MENTAL IMAGES!

My friend Bobby has some of the most ridiculous porn on his PSP.

And he likes to show it to his friends on the subway. (ie, Me) He's really such a charming lad. ::eyeroll::

Even before it was released, it was being referred to as PornStation Portable. Every time there's a new technology or format, the adult entertainment industry's always there first, figuring out distribution models and how to make money off it.

If anyone ever figures out how to launch a properly-licensed and portable "iTunes for video", it'll be probably be for porn first...

The idea of people watching it on the Tube's off-putting, though. I couldn't even read Battle Royale while commuting.

If the DW is (as I'm guessing) the 2005 series, that's one more place to get your Ecclesfix, even if it is also shelling out again for things you already have in another format.
