Awkward Silences

I ran into lareinemisere on the platform at Finchley Central this morning. I knew something like that would happen sooner or later; it's not a very big area, after all. Still felt a little awkward to me, though, particularly since we spent about a half-hour in the same carriage. I mean, not hugely awkward (not like we'd have talked to one another even if relations between us were still friendly; neither of us are built that way), but awkward all the same.

At work. Doing the "going through the papers we've had pending for over three months and make a list for the editors" job I hate so very much. Oh well, just a few more hours and I'm out. Free. FREE!

Tomorrow, must do the following:

1) Get hair cut
2) Find new socks / knickers
3) Check Forbidden Planet for BR 15
4) Buy conditioner base at Neal's Yard
5) Get l0stmarbles a birthday present (EEK I never know what to get that man...)

And tonight? SILENT HILL! Wheeeeeeee...
