Cat-tactics

thessalian...Sarah. There's another one I don't bloody believe I forgot. Feh.
I focused on Stephanie, off at college. Generally she's doing well, hasn't declared a major yet, and spends most of her time outside of class doing freestyle entertainment or playing any instrument she can lay hands on for tips. She gets a fair bit, too; generally 100 Simoleans a pop. I think having maxed out the Creativity Skill helps in that. I got her as far as her first semester of her freshman year, and she made out with a 4.0 average, which gave her an extra 1,200 Simoleans' worth of grant money. She wants a car but there's nowhere to put one, since you can't install a driveway by a college dorm, so she's shit out of luck there. The big bonus on her part is that she had a really awesome date with some guy in her dorm named Michael. So the Legacy family continues to do well. Yippee! I've got eight points so far, which I think is doing rather well, all things considered. I won't be going back to the main Strangetown Legacy Family until Stephanie's graduated college.
Yuki goes to great lengths to get me to cuddle and pet her. Essentially she climbs up on the bed in the study (which is technically the second bedroom, but there's noplace else to put the bed), sits on the corner nearest where I sit and then puts her forepaws on my shoulders and tries to climb on. dodgyhoodoo the once, but she does it to me all the damn time. Cute, but seriously, I thought cats were supposed to be independent. Then again, it beats "I'll get up on The Man's desk because I know someone'll pick me up to get me off of it!" as an attention-seeking strategy.
Right. Time for shower and bed. Work tomorrow. And I'm typing this one-handed because I have an armful of cat.
