On the Sims 2 front, baby Spider is refusing to grow up. I didn't save the last game because I wasn't sure what that would do, so I'll run it again and see what the various advice tidbits I got from Mod the Sims 2 do to help. Yeah, apparently I'm not the only one having this problem. It's got to be one or the other of the hacks, but I have no idea which one. It's also preventing me from using handhelds, mobiles and mp3 players. Again, no clue why. I'm considering the "move 'em out, move 'em in again" option for the lot of it just to see how it goes. Things just haven't been the same since I downloaded that bloody cauldron, but it's gone now so you'd think there isn't a problem anymore, right? Well, if push comes to shove, there's Sims2pack Clean Installer. I don't want to completely reinstall Sims 2 -- I have the downloads on backup and can move the folder if need be, but I don't want to lose the neighbourhoods.

Still applying for jobs like a mad bitch. Still hearing nothing. Argh. I really don't need any of this.

Gaming tonight's cancelled. Jon and Maria have the whole camp thing to prepare for, and nadriel is meeting a friend who doesn't get to London very often. It'd be one thing if just one of them was missing, but three of the five is pushing it. Of course, had nadriel been available, I'd probably have run another BESM session. Oh well, I'm sure we could all use the spare time.

Feh. Generally speaking, just "feh".
