I survived another lot of testing. This time, my typing speed came up at 94 words per minute. I am told that this is freakishly fast. I reply that, since I am a freak, it all works out. So now I live in hope that there will be something coming up soon. However, given that it's the Easter holidays coming up, I doubt I'll hear about anything that will start before Tuesday.

Yesterday afternoon was interesting. I met Jon and Maria and, while a lot of the conversation involved people I didn't know, it was still fun. It's always good to meet people with new points of view. After that, we discovered a little African restaurant in Covent Garden (nice food, reasonable ambience, service was fine until you wanted to pay the bill and leave, at which point it became a little sketchy), then sat in the Round Table (one of the few quiet pubs in that area of town) and chatted for ages. It was a good day all told, migraine notwithstanding.

No, it hasn't gone away yet. Stupid fucking migraine hell-thing.

Apparently Annie's going to be staying here for the duration of the week. At least there's net connection and the DVD collection to keep me out of their hair. Never a bad thing. Though I will be glad when there's not the various issues surrounding whose SO is staying where when. It's kind of silly, all things considered.

Grey rainy Tuesday. Bleeeeeeeeeeegh.

Yes, I could be social. However, when you take that kind of attitude about the fact that I could be social, it does tend to put me off being social. And that would be without not wanting to intrude or not being in a particularly social frame of mind what with the migraine and all.

As for issues, it's not really a matter of permission or anything. A lot of it is simply a space issue.
