cholten99 watches as I wander past, and I recently caught glimpses of a new Stargate SG-1 ep. Since I'd only seen an ep or two of the early seasons, I knew Teal'c as big, black and bald (like a more muscular version of Marcellus Wallace). However, imagine my surprise when there he is with hair.
thessalian: Why did Teal'c get hair?
cholten99: I dunno, really; it does look a bit YMCA.
thessalian: Is that a new Cockney rhyming slang thing?
cholten99: ...That's rather good, as it goes.
You'll have to excuse my total randomness; I'm having an insomnia thing. I went to bed at about 2 a.m. and then was just about to get to sleep around three when the computer rebooting woke me up. Apparently, Windows feels the need to update itself daily and requires rebooting to put these changes into effect. I hate Windows. Anyway, I couldn't get to sleep until about half-four ... then woke up at around 8:15 ascholten99 was leaving. I've tried to get back to sleep again but to no avail. Oh well; at least this gives me some hope in hell of sorting out my sleep patterns before Monday.
I'm not sure whether I'm going to go in to serve my notice period or get signed off because of stress. I've recently considered going in and actually working through my notice period, but ever since I started thinking along those lines, there's been the insomnia. Maybe this should tell me something?
