Mage again tomorrow, which of course I'm looking forward to. I think I still have all my notes handy, and what I don't, I can just reprint. It's fun watching the players squirm out of game, seeing the torment I am about to rain on their character's heads. (I'm evil, I know; I enjoy this stuff far too much.) On a related note, I have been reading through weaselbitch's notes on the speech Lucius plans to give at the Convivium. People who read this in-game are going to have to make some good Intelligence/Politics (or Intelligence/Bureaucracy, or make-me-an-offer) rolls, that's all I have to say. Well, that and "muahaha".

I can't say I'm completely hacked off about having to change venue for the game, actually, not even with the crappy food and worse service we got at O'Neill's last time. I prefer Kat and Mark's for gaming most of the time because it's just plain bigger, but I find Sourcebook Central so much more convenient, if only because I have to take fewer buses. Two's fine -- I ride each to the end of the line or thereabouts, and there I am. It's that last hop from North Finchley to Golders Green that's annoying. Still, it can't be easy on dodgyhoodoo or weaselbitch ... or any of us, for that matter ... cramming seven people into little bitty sitting room. And Mark with the fur allergies, oh damn I forgot about that. Whoops. Oh well, I'm not moving shit around now.

Speaking of, those who dwell in Sourcebook Central are behind on my Battle Royale mangas; dodgyhoodoo said something about having got up to "the one where the pretty-boy gets blown up". My question: Which 'pretty-boy' are we talking about here? It's manga, for God's sake; most of the boys are bishounen! Therefore, in Battle Royale, where at least three characters buy it per book, odds are high that at least one 'pretty-boy' buys it in each one. But I suppose "blown up" narrows it down. If he means the drag queen Sho Tsuioka, then he needs book 6 on. If it's bishounen Shinji Mimura, then he needs book 8 on. Well, they're small books. I'll bring the lot and let him figure it out.

I've had the house to myself this evening, as cholten99 has gone off to Colchester. I feel bad for him, having to take the train out and stay so late. Well, I'm sure he'll be back on wheels soon; he's been comparison shopping for cars of late. Anyway, this has led to predominant vegging out in front of reasonable amount of S6 Buffy. All right, mindless entertainment (or as close to it as I get), but I really couldn't be arsed with anything more challenging.

Right; boot cat from room (cos she's not being on crack in here overnight; if she knocks over my paper-piles, I'm beyond screwed), shower, bed. Have to be fresh for worlds of torment in the morning ... well, all right, early afternoon.

Re Battle Royale - what I actually said was, "The one with the unfortunate fate of babyface and hacker." No blowing up involved. There was a bishie on the other end of the gun though.

Int+Politics, though? So very, very fucking doomed...

That's Shinji. And there was blowing up, believe me. He was the one who built the bomb; set it off to try to blow up psycho-bishie with the machine gun, you may recall. Well, two less books to bring.

As for the other thing, you're not doomed. You're just screwed. There's a difference.
