I actually ate all my lunch, and I don't feel especially sick. Thank God for that -- one less thing to stress about. Now I just feel awfully tired, but part of that might be a desperate-for-attention kitten trying to eat my wrist an hour before wake-up time.
Still contemplating what to do about my hair. So far most of the commentary sways towards black, which I suppose would be interesting if I could find the right shade. On the other hand, I'm still toying with the idea of doing something more drastic, like cutting it. I'm reluctant to do it for two reasons:
1) Public opinion. It's not just him who's always insisted I shouldn't cut my hair. Of course, none of them have seen me with short hair, but my mother always kept on at me about being too old to wear my hair this long, which is incentive to keep growing it.
2) I know I'm just contemplating this so I can do something extreme to keep my mind off the break-up. It seems a silly reason to negate the eight or so years I spent growing it out after the Hair-Hackers from Hell incident.
I'll probably keep it long. For one thing, if I cut it, I'll have to keep going to the hairdresser regularly to keep it looking tidy, whereas now I can just haul it back into a ponytail and call it good. Also, having long hair is useful in cold weather -- mine's almost long enough now to act as a built-in scarf. Still, I want to do something. I'm just bored and restless with it now.
Gah. I'm being such a girl today...

Of course I have no idea how much weight you put on the opinions of someone you've never met.
