I'm trying to decide whether it's worth booking an appointment with the doctor over this whole appetite thing. I mean, it's been a week and a half and my appetite still sucks. Then, even when I am hungry, I eat anything and I feel nauseous. The thing is, it could be anything. Could be stress, and what they're going to do about that I have no clue. It could just be the heat -- that plays merry hell with the appetite as well. Or it could just be time of month. Everything else is reasonably normal ... well, normal for me, anyway. Maybe I shouldn't worry about it until something goes seriously wrong or the weather changes. After all, women who believe in dieting would probably be grateful for something like this, and I'm sure I could stand to lose a few pounds.
Took a slightly longer lunch than usual despite picking at my food. Bought Kat's CD (hope she doesn't mind if I rip it first) and three brand spanking new books. Now that I'm ensured some more comprehensive shelf space for them, I thought I could use a few more. I bought a new copy of "Dance Dance Dance" (since I left my first copy with an Australian who was living in the hostel I stayed at in Brighton last year), "The Stepford Wives", (read a library copy ages ago and remember liking it) and "Les Liaisons Dangereuse" (about time I read the original after seeing the Philippe/Gellar version on DVD). Bah, my reading tastes are eclectic. Hey, at least my appetite for reading hasn't diminished...
