A writer I admire (Alasdair Stuart, for the curious) has recently posted this and, as I have been negligent in the writing field of late, I have chosen to participate despite being unable to make a request of Mr Stuart due to my lack of familiarity with any of the shows he listed as potential fic fodder*.

Aaaaaaanyway.

The first 10 people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing and in return they have to post this in their journal regardless of ability. If you choose to post this in your own journal, it'd be very nice and godspeed and good luck and all, but it's not mandatory.

I'll move on from there to actual HIPPIEverse drabble but I have to start somewhere. And I tried to cover all the bases so that there's a wide range of people on my flist that actually can ask.

** - keeping in mind that I have seen one episode of the TV show, hated it and you will by necessity be getting Book Canon only.
*** - Yes, because I am a geek and an addict. I have made my peace with it.

Given that the books were a completely different beast to the show, Ill go with "The Dresden Files" - William Borden/Thomas Raith.

Since I am currently in a state best described as "frothing" over the impending release of Changes, I'd like to request some more Dresden Files as well. Any pairing and whatnot you like. In return, I will respond with a Dresden drabble of my own, with your choice as to characters. I'm sllllllooooowwwwllllly seeing if I have any ability to write lately, so I'm game.

In fact, let me throw down a gauntlet. I will go drabble for drabble with you until you cry uncle. This way I might be able to force some of these ideas out of my freaking brain. So I write my gorram briefs in peace.

Well, challenge accepted but I really don't know which characters to ask for. Honestly, so much freakin' scope there. Besides, it's not fair to make me decide which characters I'm going to use and then make me decide what characters you're going to use too. So you're on your own.
