In a bit of a hurry now, so I'll keep it as brief as I can.

It seems to be the 'en vogue' thing for various of my foreign friends to drop through London, perhaps not with the express purpose of visiting me, but at least with that as a primary or secondary goal. First we had Jane, the first of the 'community' people I met and who now doesn't like me very much, I don't think, but what the hey. She was in London on some sort of holiday and we basically had a couple of meet-ups. Then Ryoko and Trekkis -- Trekkis was here anyway and Ryoko had frequent flyer miles and stayed at my place for a week. Then I was in the US and there was no need for any of that, though leopard_lady and Taichou did fly out to SF while I was in the area for a spring break. After I came back, I saw a lot of Padre and then Shinji, but that's not so surprising as they both live in the same country. But when 12-shot was doing his Europe study, he went through a fair bit to get the off-time necessary to swing by London from the Continent. And Kent, of course, passed through on the way to Germany to see Asuka. And, with her uni people, leopard_lady will be returning in the not-too-distant. And now Nakanaide's talking about cheap flights and May, apparently to coincide with the revamp of the not-so-craptop.
