Sounds to me like you should just go to A&E now, it would at least save you another night of pain and worry as they should be able to give you some better painkillers and you would know some action had been taken. I'm with jedishadowolf on this in that its been worrying me too and I hope it speeds up your referral. I've been through something similar before which was only resolved when I made my dad dump me in the hospital and drive away so there was no way I could go anywhere without someone seeing me.
