What A Bunch Of Characters Redux

thessalianThis'll be interesting; I'm not even sure I've ever played 12 RPG characters long-term. I'll have to delve into the one-offs if not, I suppose, but one thing at a time...
Name 12 characters you have played in RPGs, before looking at the questions that follow. List your characters numbered 1 to 12, with the name of the RPG you played them in. Once you've picked your 12 characters, look at the questions and answer accordingly. (No peeking until you've picked your characters!) Put your answers behind a LJ-cut.

1) Who would make a better college professor: 6, or 11?
Eesh, tough call. Lorrie, probably; despite youth and occasional vulgarity and an inability to ever shut up, she's the smarter of the two stats-wise and tends to pick up a lot of interesting information that might add to a classroom's appreciation of the topic at hand. On the other hand, Sgt Hard-Bitch would take no shit from her class and would gain a certain amount of respect.
2) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?
Alison was designed to be hot. She's something of a seductress, and is at the high end of the Appearance stat scale. So yeah, very hot.
3) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
It would probably be something combat-oriented with a hint of medical undertone, given Moira's medical status and Leah's experience from medical school. Possibly rescuing a wounded comrade from the middle of a fray, since Leah's got the combat skills to back it up. It would probably succeed - between the pyrokinesis and her fencing skills, she'd get through a battlefield alive; the problem would be getting the victim out, as she's not that strong.
4) What is, or would be, 9's favourite book?
For Violet? A spell book. Any spell book.
5) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
Neither is the type to swear fealty to anyone; they express loyalty in a very different and less obvious way, and neither would particularly respect the other anyway.
6) For some reason, 5 is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9, or 10?
Grace would be better suited to rooming with Solita than with Violet, who would have no patience with Grace's chipper ways and slightly ditzy attitude. Solita and Grace have a certain joie de vivre in common, and would probably get along very well.
7) 2, 7, and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Alison, Nina and Moira? Well, Alison's game for anything and Moira never struck me as fussy, so Nina'd probably wind up picking something Cajun food-wise. Moira and Nina would have some medical discussions and there would be a certain amount of gossip between the two younger women.
8) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
Bera challenges Sgt Hard-Bitch; Bera has a battle-axe, Sgt Hard-Bitch has a Primium-laced skeleton and a big honkin' plasma cannon. Sgt Hard-Bitch either laughs in Bera's face or, if pressed, reduces the Rune Mage to a small smoking crater.
9) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would they get it back?
What most precious possession? Leah barely owned anything to begin with. But if she did actually have a prized possession and Aidan took it, she'd probably approach Aidan and say, as politely possible, "If you would be so good as to return my item, I would be good enough not to set you on fire." As to Aidan, I'm not sure what circumstances would make Aidan steal anything, but whatever it was, it'd be important, so he'd be reluctant to give it back - but of course, he's probably heard rumours about El Fuego Adentro and wouldn't want to mess with someone who could actually do something like that.
10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
...Kayla and Aidan. That's just not a combination I ever want to see. If pushed, something that required Aidan's book-savvy to figure out where the big bad is and Kayla's fighting abilities to kick the everloving crap out of it.
12) If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
Reasonably well, I think, once we got over Nina's excessive paranoia. We'd make each other laugh and fill the house with food.
13) If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
I can't think of anything I'd ask Bera to do for me; most of her powers are for her benefit alone at the moment.
14) Does anyone on your friends list resemble 11 (either in appearance or personality)?
Crusading caregiver? Try most of them.
15) If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?
Alison doesn't choose sides, and I don't think Grace would ever wind up being against Kayla per se. If pressed, though, she'd prefer Grace's tendency to give a shit about people to Kayla's "Heart of Flint" limit break and tendency to charge into battle without thinking about it - "Don't I get enough of that at home?"
16) What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
"Don't worry; I'll be fine!" to whatever bodyguard she just ran past.
17) If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?

18) 1, 6, and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Lorrie without a doubt; she's the fastest of the three, and not inclined to politeness as the other two are.
19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
"You shouldn't be forced into an arranged marriage without trying all the possibilities, right? Besides, why should the Hawkwood have all the fun?"

Public nudity or busking without a licence.

Her real name - Hannelore Brigstocke - and the fact that most of the vampiric community would like her dead for overuse of Rite of the Sun's Bright Ray in London.
22) If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
Sgt Hard-Bitch again, given the high Stamina, reasonable Athletics and Forces enhancements.
23) If you had to walk home through a bad neighbourhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?

24) 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?
"The Crack-Fic that Ate my Friends List", possibly? There's just no possible plotline that makes any of that make sense.
Okay, let's actually try this. Aidan and Violet team up to save the world from Kayla's evil organisation. That's just not going to end well in the first place because Kayla's a freakin' demigod. Now, what Sgt Hard-Bitch is doing spying for a likely 'reality deviant', I simply cannot say. I have no idea why Kayla would bother having to kidnap Moira to force a surrender from a weeny little medic and a witch-bitch, but let's just say that actually happened: the minute Grace found out that some demigod bitch had kidnapped Kinfolk, never mind the wise advice (which, not being the brightest star in the heavens, she wouldn't have anyway); it'd be "Right, so I'll go Crinos on her, then!" And about all Bera could contribute to this would be something to the order of "When my ancestors dealt with this kind of situation ... well, they were screwed to the wall and just about everybody died. We're dealing with the GOD-TOUCHED here!"
