It might, but I need to resolve the brand spanking new issue first. I'll be discussing that in a post tomorrow morning, but I'll give a quick rundown now. I state here that I was going to ask to buy Spirit Sight, as I have the XP for it and it'd be easy to learn, given that I picked a merit for this character that has her awakening the spirits of machinery with just a touch and by accident -- she's had this one CD player for at least six years and it must be awakened (and friendly to her) by now. The spirit of a CD player is a spirit, and you can learn Spirit Speech from any spirit -- I figure if it likes her, it'd be happy to teach her to communicate 'properly'.
But no. Apparently, Grace has to go on some bloody Umbral quest just to learn something that she could learn from any damn machine she touches. Which I wouldn't mind if it seemed like said ST was particularly interested in running anything but scenarios in which her characters can lock themselves in rooms and go "Woe is meeeeeeeeee!" Grah.
