Well, if all else fails, Aveline can have something strong and cedary with a hint of something softer, like lily or jasmine. It's things to think on.
As to Fenris ... myeh, I'd be looking to reflect the lyrium as much as the warrior bit, and also highlight something of the elvish in him. So probably musky incense sorts of smells with a clean, harsh scent like eucalyptus or grapefruit ... but I could try a hint of mulled wine and leather underneath it all. Fenris: a complicated scent for a complicated elf.
And then Varric: tobacco, sandalwood and the closest thing to ale I can find, with orange or lime underneath (probably orange; it'll blend better with the rest, and throw in a bit of cinnamon to boot).
