thessalianAll the work I did Thursday? The compilation of several months' worth of referee reports for sending to one of the editors? The e-mails didn't go through and I have to send them all bloody over again, this time one e-mail at a time. Argh. Plus the usual "This shit hit at the weekend" lump of work. Today's going to be one of those days.
I'm supposed to be going on the much-delayed Land of the Dead excursion tonight. Hopefully I won't be too tired to go at the end of today.
Oh, and running into co-workers on the Tube sucks, particularly when they're one who sits across the office from you and you hardly ever talk to anyway. Polite conversation can be so hard first thing in the morning. All you really feel like doing is saying, "Please vacate my personal space; I'm not paid to deal with humanity for another 15 minutes!"
