They want me to do WHAT?

There is intense physical pain. And yet my HR department called me at home to order me to interrupt my doctor-prescribed sick leave on Friday morning to turn up for my little evaluation meeting (because, of course, I'm on probation this month). They could not, apparently, have waited until Monday. Oh, no. That would have made far too much sense.

I'm worried. I've barely been there for most of my month-long probation period. Fine, I've done good work, and scatty-mistress-boss-lady has had nothing but praise, but I worry that the whole being-ill thing is going to count against me. I suppose, though, that if they decide I'm not what they're looking for, I still get the month's pay (once I've produced my doctor's certificate) and can at least contribute to household stuff while I look for yet another job that doesn't suck. Still, I don't want to job-hunt again. I can't deal with that level of stress right now.

I shouldn't even be typing this. *sigh* Back to the unspeakable boredom, I guess.
