Afternoon Outing

So I had a good time this afternoon. First was lunch over at O'Neill's, which was amusing despite the fact that I got there late and wound up sitting with Claire, corone, angusabramson and daver2323. The latter three spent a fair amount of time talking about "the industry" and I always feel left out of conversations like that. Still, it was fun; dodgyhoodoo and weaselbitch brought back candles and anime, and dodgyhoodo loaned me his wrist braces again, which was good of him. They make me feel like a twerp but at least they keep me from doing anything monumentally stupid.

After that and a brief tour 'round Waterstones (corone and Claire had a return to make at Argos and while we were waiting for them, weaselbitch got so bored that she was beating up the condiments, so I thought I should suggest something to keep her occupied) we went 'round to Kat and Mark's. Actually, we didn't do anything much -- all manner of silly games were suggested, but in the end we just decided to hang about and chat. All to the good, really; The Penguin Ultimatum sounded mad and Scattergories, which I actually quite like, was kind of out by virtue of pencil-holding. Even light typing is giving me mass pain.

We're going to see a film the name of which I can't remember tomorrow. I have to be at work so I'm missing the Oriental City trip. Bollocks. I told cholten99 about it so he should be joining us for that. After that, I think the only thing I'm slated for with the gang is Mage on Sunday (2 pm, Veg Veg, and please God let it work better than last time). Muahaha. Sorry. Evil laugh mandatory every time I think of Mage session.

Don't want to go to work tomorrow. Wrists hurt. Colindale! Bollocks.
