I'm definitely back in the game. Bully for me.
I was on the phone, trying to talk to a patient, when Violet enters. Instead of waiting until I was done on the phone and discuss it with me like a normal human being, she drops an envelope containing a tape on my desk and walks out again. No query as to what my workload currently is, or if this is okay with me, or anything remotely like that. Just dropped it and walked out. The fucking nerve! I'm still doing clinic tapes, Dr Slater gave me something else to type and now I have to type some of the ward shit and no one even asked me! I would have been a lot better about this if I'd been asked but noooooo. That would have invited some fucking debate on the matter, and that obviously couldn't happen. There will apparently be no dissent. If Violet wants me to do the damn thing, it wouldn't matter what I say anyway, so why bother talking to me about it? There's no sense in explaining the workload the others are under to make me feel better about it or apologise for dumping this on me or anything; it's not like I'm a fellow human being or anything. No, of course not -- acknowledging that the secretaries are anything more than trained orangutans is verboten.
Bitch.
