30 Days of Blog Meme: Day 3
Jan. 21st, 2010 12:27 pmFavourite TV Show
This one is almost as hard as 'favourite song'. There are so many shows that I like, old and new. But ... well, when it comes down to longest-running favourites, it's got to be The Muppet Show. I've loved that show for as long as I can remember. The guest stars were obviously having such a great time and were such good sports about it. The comedy was ... cheesy, sure, but something about having it delivered by puppets - and such funky puppets as well; those things were designed so beautifully - negated most of the cheese factor or at least made it more cute than groanworthy. It's one of those shows that I can't really explain why I like it; I just do.
Beyond that, there's a list of shows I like a mile long, from all points on the genre spectrum. Thing is, I think that any show that can stay as a favourite of mine for, like, my entire life deserves the top spot. Just saying. :)
And here's what's been, and what is yet to come: ( The List! )
It's a really short entry but it's a question that's at once really simple and really hard to answer. And so I wander off to wait for my job news (gods, please, soon). I may take a walk and there will definitely be a bit of Dragon Age Origins (still waaaaant) but at least I've been productive with yet more job apps (just in case) and a bit of non-fiction writing as requested. Non-ranting opinion pieces can be fun, and my research-fu is strong. Woo!
