Advanced Jobs
Jan. 4th, 2007 07:29 amWoke up early, with a combination of nerves (job interviews) and an inability to breathe. Yay, lurgy.
Trying to decide what advanced job I want to unlock first in FFXI. Again, I'm not going for the combat-oriented stuff, and the likely ones for me are Dragoon or Summoner. And everyone tells me to go for Summoner first. Oh yeah, I have a very helpful linkshell of very high-level individuals who are more than happy to help me out, as they have all been through this already, but ... well, consider what you have to do for the Summoner quest:

...Somehow, this is sounding less than thrill-a-minute. Still, it's one of the jobs I wanted, so I'll persevere, and it's not like I don't have help. Then I can go for Dragoon and Beastmaster ... and hope no one's arsehole enough to kill my pets and watch me die in that latter case.
Anyway, I should go get dressed now. Nice cream shirt, nice black skirt, suit jacket ... meep.
