How do wasps dig?
Sep. 3rd, 2006 09:50 pmToday has been remarkably slow. I slept in, faffed around online, played some FFXI. And yet again, Deathgnome ran into some ... difficulties.
I got lost in Giddeus, y'see - all the damn canyon paths look alike. And I wound up wandering for ages, eventually cutting through the creepy cave with the hole in it where the Yagudo Piper of Doom lives. Except I didn't fall down the stupid hole; I came out the other side of the cave and the first thing I saw was a bee. Except it was labelled "Digger Wasp".
"What the hell is a Digger Wasp?", I asked myself. And the answer soon came - "very fucking hard; that's what a Digger Wasp is". I bested it, but with only four MP and 8 HP. And so I sat healing ... and another one turned up. "I hope they don't aggro", I said, still only up to 40-odd HP. It hit me. ("Shit; they aggro.") I tried valiantly, but it killed me. Well, at least I wasn't lost anymore... If only because I got zoned back to my home point in Windurst Waters.
Now watching Mirrormask again. It's quite good; just a little slow-paced at the beginning. After that, shower and more online faff. You know, standard Sunday.
