One of the first mornings in the last week where I haven't woken up feeling utterly like crap. This time, I only feel marginally like crap. This is an improvement. Hooray, improvement!

Of course, the entertainment started early as Yuki was doing her Great Grey Hunter routine. This involves chasing a bug until it's out of her reach (in this case, perched on the glass panel above the study door) and then mewing pitifully as if to say, "Please come down! I want to eeeeeeeeeeat you!" So I decide to give her a bit of a prop-up and she bats it off the glass and chases it around the flat for awhile until it wises up and lands on the ceiling over the dining table. The dining table is so covered with crap that she can't gear up for a decent leap, so it's back to the mewing. This at least distracted Yuki from [livejournal.com profile] dodgyhoodoo for about 20 minutes. He's been doing work stuff that involves sifting through pieces of paper while sitting on the living room floor. He obviously doesn't remember what happened to one of his character sheets...

Bubblerock is loaded with my new music, huzzah! Now I just pick a book and get dressed and ready to face the day. I'm sure there'll be tons to do, since I've been off for three days. Eesh. Hope no one's too upset.

Well, it's not that I'm lacking in things to do. It's that if I don't slow down, I will be lacking in things to do. I don't really want that. Therefore, I faff. Faffing is good. Faffing prevents burnout.

Gods, I'm bored.

Kitties!

I can read Two Lumps again.

I think [livejournal.com profile] nadriel is right; Yuki should have a guest spot on that thing. Just the once. She and Snooch would get on scarily well.
