Starting to get a bit worried now. My feet have swollen to a stupid size, as in I've been wearing
dodgyhoodoo's size 10 sandals on my usually size 6 1/2 feet and the straps are actually cutting into me. And they hurt. I'm trying not to panic and desperately trying not to think lymphoedema, a precursor to cellulitis, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better no matter what I do. It's going to have to be the doctor soon, but I can't be off ill again so soon into a new job. This is stupid. I'm going to try the leftover anti-inflammatories I had when I had the arm problem the other month, see if that helps. If not, it's the doctor next week. Argh. I just hope my work's been good enough to date so that they don't think I'm malingering if I have to be off work again. Then again, I know I've been doing good work and they've seen my feet so ... believe me, they do not look healthy.
I went on a probably ill-considered shopping excursion during my lunch break today. Went to the Virgin Megastore, and saw a poor lonely Firefly box set just waiting for someone to give it a good home. So I brought it home and
dodgyhoodoo says I can keep it if I feed it and clean up after it. We're both slaves to "last puppy in the shop" syndrome. That and Firefly's shiny and every home should have one. We went through the first disc this evening and have had a fine old time of it.
11 days before Sims 2 Nightlife comes out! Huzzah!
Now I finish the web perusal (abbreviated), have a shower and then put my feet up. Probably an early night. Just as well; last night was a late one.
