Been paid (I think I got the dates wrong -- I was so sure it was the 14th but I might have been a day out). Life is better. I'm going to the city in a bit for lunch and to catch up on the Battle Royale mangas I'm missing. Then I have to bugger off to Seven Sisters for yet more fun with police officers, looking at video of the little crims who smashed their way into someone's car last month. Whoopee.
As far as the writing goes, I've been looking at the old TLAS work for the first time in months. Maybe it's time to start thinking about how I'm going to finish it. I vaguely remember what it was I was trying to do with the last season, so polishing it off and being done with it seems a simple and effective idea. However, to get back into the mood, I'm going to have to do something I really don't want to do -- re-read TLAS. I don't wanna! Argh! Oh well; I started, so I'll finish. Eventually.
Of course, there's other stuff to do. There's the Affils RPG stuff, but I've asked for some help on that from people in-the-know. I've asked at least a half-dozen people (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
50ftqueenie, leopard_lady, nightskywarlock, aberranteyes, tolshak, ninja_arzt, caira, to name the vast majority) if they'd be keen to produce some mini-fic work as section dividers. For those of you who read regularly and are keen to participate, please remember that we're going to be starting looking at layout in August. Submissions have to be in by 1 September at the very latest or I can't take them. Sorry for the short notice...
Right. Time to go see the great wide world. I'll probably just pile into the 134. It's not shorter, but it is just plain easier. And less hot.
