Day in brief

Beltane Bash was fun. I made a bind rune and learned about Egyptian creation myths. Also talked to Jon and Maria about possibly doing an aromatherapy workshop for Thornapple, and their possibly taking part in the Affils playtest -- we'll see. Saw people talking an absolute load of wank and generally had a good time. Definitely going back again tomorrow, if only to return Jon's hat.

Then, after a not-so-quick dinner at a Chinese restaurant I hadn't tried yet in Chinatown, got on the 134 to get home. There were thugs yammering like idiots, so I yelled at them to shut up, at which point they got insulting. You get used to the "fat slut" insult thrown at you. You do not get used to watching as some little toe-rag spits lager into your boyfriend's eyes. dodgyhoodoo wouldn't let me beat the toe-rag up once we'd got off the bus. Aw.

In short, a good day marred by arseholes. Story of my life, really.
