I don't understand it. I just don't. I went to bed at a decent hour. I was asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. I got at least seven hours' worth of sleep last night. So why the fuck does it feel like I've been awake since Sunday?

It's ridiculous. This is the one Monday where I haven't stayed up until some obscene hour of the morning because I've spent until eleven or so sitting in Kat and Mark's sitting room rolling dice and yelling insanities. Last night was chilled, goddamnit! I cooked food! I surfed the Net! I read! I played Sims! These are all sedentary activities that require not a fucking jot of effort and yet I'm completely knackered! Okay, the headache doesn't help. But still, what happened to cause and effect?

I need coffee.

It's payday tomorrow. With luck, it's also 7th Sea tomorrow. I say 'with luck' because we just got mail from Kat saying that Mark might have to skip out because he's on some training course. He has one day off and Kat's going to twist his arm to make him pick Wednesday, so we live in hope. I wouldn't be so bothered ordinarily but there's a rule -- you're missing one person, you game on as usual.* You're missing more than one person (or the GM) and you're fucked. And [livejournal.com profile] cholten99 is leaving for Newcastle to go to a funeral tomorrow after work. So that makes two people missing, if Kat can't twist Mark's arm hard enough. But then again, she's a woman; I trust her to make it happen.

* -- Funnily enough, this rule does not apply to our Exalted sessions. This is only because we have a perfect circle of Solar Exalted and to remove one character from that circle righteously fucks everything up. Particularly when that character's the Zenith, 'cos then you're missing a leader and the whole thing goes to hell. This means that, whatever happens with 7th Sea while I'm away, at least I won't be missing Exalted and Mage of course can't go on without me, so one out of three ain't bad.

I want to go and kick Histology very hard. Is it so difficult to get blood tests for cancer patients done in 24 hours?
