cholten99 took Yuki-chan to the vet today. It's a lot different than it was when Thundarr was a kitten, in that Yuki-chan is now home from the vet, bandaged but otherwise good. Well, a little groggy, and rather wary of my guilt-ridden boyfriend. Well, he was the one who put her in the carrier, walked her to the vet, walked her home again... He also got her ID-chipped. I'd heard about this method of tagging one's pets, but had never considered doing it, particularly not to an indoor cat. But then, I don't think he's ever going to acknowledge that Yuki-chan is an indoor cat, despite the fact that an upper-level flat set in the middle of a car park is not exactly a place you can let your cat wander, mostly because if they want to come back, it's hard to get through two locked doors.
Bad, stressful day at work. The GP still not having brought through my migraine meds prescription made matters worse, natch. Tomorrow's bound to be a better day. Can't get that much worse, frankly. Well, actually, yes it could.
Since leaving work, I've done nothing productive. Mostly I've been playing Sims and paying for curry. I wanted to make pictures with the pastels or do the T-shirts or something, but right now all I can think is, "Fuck this, I just want to curl up in a little ball of misanthropy and die."
