My Brain Hurt Enough Already, Thanks...

Typing that did not make it any less mind-boggling, considering the man who lists this as a favourite webcomic or whatever the hell it is (I'm not looking. I don't want to know) has yet to submit a sufficiently lowbrow Lowbrow moment.
Typing that also did not make me any less desirous of stamping my foot (preferably on the man's groin) and screaming "HENTAI!" Asuka-style until my larynx threatens to burst along with his testicles.
In other news, the phone's been ringing lately. Normally, my phone doesn't ring that much; Mum rings occasionally, but that's pretty much the extent of the use my phone sees unless I have an international phonecard handy at the same time as I can be arsed to dial eight digits or more on the goddamn thing and I know the person I want to talk to is home. (All three of those at the same time aren't blue-moon, but they're not exactly common occurrences either.) But my grandmother took it into her head to ring me last night and Nakanaide rang this morning. Fine, he had to speak to my answering machine because, while awake, I was not up to moving. I don't know if it's silly to be cheered by that or not. But when you feel like you'd rather be in a coffin than at your desk on the basis that at least you wouldn't feel so god-awful sick anymore, you kind of have to take whatever cheer life throws at you.
(Yes, I could go home. I'm not going to. We're already short-staffed around here and Reshma, who still hasn't got the hang of things and needs every single goddamn report she types checked by Cheryl before it can even go near the verification process ... well, I'll be nice and say that it's a little like trying to paddle a canoe with a tennis racket.)
