Now, on to the M:tA Clusterfuck. Wakaranai came through in the end -- I knew he could come up with something good if he just put his mind to it. Nakanaide, while stat-weak (well, duh; he still can't get his hands on the books), came up with a 'fuzzy' character background that works and sparked a really great game-*ping*.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nightskywarlock is done with his character as far as I know and is currently working on computer-based ways to roll dice -- y'know, I don't think he trusts me. (innocenteyes) 50ftqueenie has some relatively workable stats and a vague character background/description. She's gotta stop being so tentative and just be her character for awhile; I'll find a way to make her fit.
That's assuming, of course, that the game's going on at all. Ironically, it's the one who calls himself Gamer who's now screwing the whole thing up by just basically not doing much of anything. I'm not sure he even checks his e-mail but I know he got the ultimatum and I know he knows my e-mail so there's no excuse but "busy" or "lazy". He could've told me about "busy"; "lazy" is no excuse at all in my book.
So we're having a meet-up on Friday, us lot, just to get straight where we're at. If I'm lucky, Gamer'll get a move on and this won't be an issue. But seeing as how yesterday, my bus home got stopped and emptied because the bus driver got sworn and spat at by a passenger (who then ran off) and insisted on sitting there and waiting for the police, and how I had to hoof it home after all that, two miles farther from home than where the bus was supposed to stop, let's say I'm not lucky. That means I have a few options.
1) Extend the deadline for another two weeks. I really don't want to do that. I don't know what'll be going on in two weeks and if we keep putting it back and putting it back, it won't happen at all. So that 'option' really isn't.
2) Show Gamer the door, then try to make a game with the four remaining characters. I could do that, I think, but at least one member of the party is eeghy enough about five people; four'll not be better.
3) Drop the whole thing. Self-explanatory in both its pros and its cons. I don't want to deal with this anymore but I know this is the hard bit; if we can just get through the character creation stage and onto the game I know we'll have a good time. Just, don't I have enough lazy jackwads to deal with at the office?
The weekend is coming. Thank God for the weekend. I am going to spoil myself absolutely rotten, thank you. I deserve a break.
