Ooooooh, how glad I am of the weekend.
Things I accumulated:
1) "Dark Side of the 80s" -- set of two CDs devoted to 80s Indie, Goth, NewRom and New Wave. The stuff that got me into music in the first place. Well, bar Twisted Sister.
2) Escaflowne DVD 2. Yay!
3) Copy of "The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction". Published in Hoboken, NJ. Considering submission, but do I really want to submit all the way to Hoboken? Hell, do I really want to get rejected by Hoboken? (And to you well-meaning flatterers and those who genuinely believe in me, it's more than possible -- in fact, it's likely and it doesn't bother me one bit.)
Remind me never to wear my DMs without socks. Steelcaps and bare toes do not go well together in this heat. Then again, socks don't go well in this heat. Then again, neither do steelcaps. *sigh* Yeah, I'm attached to my Docs alright. I think I'm fused to them by the sheer heat just now. (Yeah, go ahead and yell.)
Now, I have to figure out what to do about dinner. Christ, if I can't even make up my mind about what I want to eat or whether or not I want to send the short story to Hoboken, how the hell do I hope to decide about med school?
