Liberating

I figured.
Liberal and liberated. I'm free of work for a whole week and a half. 'Course, I have to spend six hours on a plane with my mother tomorrow. And then the relatives. Oh God, help me -- particularly when my mother felt it so necessary to remind me in that tone to not forget my passport.
Things That Will Keep Me Sane:
* Discman -- I got fresh batteries and will be bringing some of the most inaccessible and offensive music I can find. (Given my collection, this will not be hard.)
* Books -- Some just for me to read, some that I can loan to my mother and shut her up.
* Excedrin PM -- if all else fails, sleepy Thess.
It's not that I don't like my mother ... really. It's just that, since I started paying attention to current events, I've been in a pretty crappy mood. I'm not really in the mood to make nice. Most of my friends get this, and I'm grateful. My mother doesn't tend to get this, so I'm not well pleased.
Anyway, I've spent today doing more-menial-than-usual shit, and I just realised that I will be without typing apparatus for a week. I'm not liking this at all.
I don't suppose someone could blow up Heathrow, please?
