Came home last night to find a package waiting for me. Contained a copy of Rebel Without a Crew, Robert Rodriguez's autobiography -- so elusive here. Kent definitely lives up to his name on this one; he is now my personal hero!
Also when I came back there was a message from my mother, who I've been bad-mouthing since she arranged the dates for my birthday trip to Montreal on dates when the Habs were playing away. Turns out that, once reminded of this, she went back, rearranged her business trip and now we're very likely getting tickets to the Habs v Bruins (at least I think it's Bruins) on the 11th! So I take back the nasties I said about my mother and won't be ignoring her for a month after our return.
Of course, it's not all good. It's never all good. I mean, Wakaranai lives up to his name more than is seemly and Ryu ... well, you know. I'm a little narked at Neko about things that I'm not sure I have any right to be narked off at her for, but that's something I'll deal with on my own. But overall, between MintSauce's commentary on the short story I was stressing over so hard and the niceness from Asuka asking her friend to give me a help on one project of mine and Kent being such a super man (puncrime. *whop*), it sure seems all good.
