Sympathy for the Temp

I know I've had some health problems of late, but that's hardly my fault. This sort of thing is not pleasant for anyone concerned, and missing this much work isn't my idea of a good time either, not when I'm paid by the hour and have no sick leave.

Therefore, the response I want from a temp agent when I tell her I can't come in today because I'm crampy, nauseous and afraid that putting myself on public transport is going to tip the balance into outright vomiting is not, "Oh good grief".
