I Can Has Job?!?

Things are, it would appear, looking slightly up.
Anyone remember the whole deal where I interviewed as a work-from-home transcriber and then couldn't have the job because there weren't enough people to make it a viable option for the company I applied with, which were trying this as a new direction for the company to take? Well, as luck would have it, I found a company that does a similar sort of thing. They send people out for note-taking at meetings, predominantly - at least, that's what I applied for. This while still trying to beat an answer out of YAFA about that interview I went on nearly a week ago now.
Got an email from them this morning. Apparently, not only am I just the sort of person they're looking for, but they also get a lot of work-from-home transcription. In fact, they find themselves overloaded with it at the moment. And they are wondering if I could make an immediate start on some of that. So I've obviously emailed them back going, "Yes, of course! Please send me your typing!" I'm not going to truly relax until such time as I'm actually working and getting paid, but at least this is a lot more promising than phone calls and emails from YAFA getting ignored.
Maybe I'll be able to pull out of Depressive Funk of Meh and Misery in time for Christmas. That'd be nice.
