My circadian rhythms are so screwed. Now I seem to be living on PST. I just couldn't get to sleep last night. Well, the few times I felt tired, there was snoring, but the rest of the time ... well, writing and feeling hideously ill - migraine and queasy. I tried eating (it was lunch at that point) but that didn't help but at least the migraine meds did. So I eventually got to sleep at midday. Woke up about an hour ago, did the shopping for dinner fixings. That was not fun, as for some reason my knees are pure agony, the right worse than the left. Walking is bad. Sitting down or standing up is worse. It's not even all that cold out! It's probably going to rain soon or something. Ugh.
I hope I didn't miss
darkdanc3r online. I really did only plan to be asleep for a few hours. I knew I should've set my alarm...
Today's playlist predominantly involves Suzanne Vega. Obviously getting back on a folk-inspired female solo vocals kick with a touch of nostalgia. There are worse things. The niggling desire to get back into musical scores - I'm sure it's not long before the Miss Saigon soundtrack starts blaring out of the Frankenbox's much-abused speakers.
Oh, for those of you on the NaNo site, I finally decided on an exerpt to post. Enjoy, if you care to read it.
