I've never been turned into a chicken. I've been a lot of frogs though, and possibly a sheep. Fortunately mobs who can do that are few and far between.

Escort quests are my least favourite thing in WoW. They're marginally less annoying when there's two of you (at least so long as the tank doesn't decide to run off ahead and leave the priest and the NPC to be slaughtered by the sudden horde of surprise trolls. Me, bitter?)

Oh, and mounts are awesome. As a paladin you can have a warhorse rather than the standard blood elf mount of a giant purple chicken.
