We made the nights True Blood aired an actual *event* after a while...sort of like other people do with sports games. I have the first book but haven't read it, yet. My sister has, though, and never claimed to care for it much. The TV series? Oh yes...just let me plop myself on the couch with a remote and HBO On-Demand, and I'm set for a whole weekend. Lots of things changed--especially characters like LaFayette--but I actually think they're all good developments all around.
