Good Realisation: Particularly with the job thing looking closer and closer to being sorted, I will most certainly have money at Dragonmeet. Which is good, as I remember my first Dragonmeet and being unbearably skint. One CANNOT be skint at Dragonmeet -- it's torture on par with thumbscrews.

Bad Realisation: Back a few months ago, [livejournal.com profile] siroswold was keen to run Affils alongside me at Dragonmeet to get it maximum exposure. Given the current situation, I don't think that'll work out. Well, maybe one of the others would be willing, as double-running is still a great idea and I'm grateful to [livejournal.com profile] siroswold for coming up with it. So volunteers? [livejournal.com profile] weaselbitch? [livejournal.com profile] nadriel? [livejournal.com profile] dodgyhoodoo? *puppyeyes*

Middling Realisation: That puts Dragonmeet awfully close to JTAF this year. If the money situation sorts itself reasonably, that means that my winter schedule looks like this:

September - October: Finish Affils.
November: NaNoWriMo.
Early December: Dragonmeet.
Late December: JTAF; Christmas.

Really Bad Realisation: There is no way I'm going to be able to afford Dragonmeet, JTAF and a decent Christmas. Maybe we'll just do Japantown etc in the spring...

[Edit: The Anniversary (year 4) came and went two days ago. And I was so depressed, stressed and generally hacked off with the world that I forgot to take the time out to be grateful that I'm still alive. Arsebiscuits. Well, no time like the present. I'm going to go eat something now and stop fucking myself over just because stuff in my life is going ker-flooey.]

Assuming I'm available, I don't mind running something at DM- I'd just want to be sure I do it justice.

I'm sure you'd manage just fine, but we can discuss it next time we meet up. There's time.
