I think I must have started early - I've *always* liked flat cola and cold pizza - certainly as far back as I can remember, which pre-dates slightly me and computers. Especially at 2am.

Addition: the only time handwriting is to be counted as 'bad' is when you can't read your own, or in the specific case when you're writing for someone else. Otherwise, all scribbles are valid.
