California Dreamin' Redux

Thess wa baka desu!

I need to check these things more carefully. My flight leaves tomorrow afternoon, not this afternoon. Between the various stresses and the desperate desire to come home, I got myself confused. Baka, baka, baka!

Fret not. I'm ... well, okay, I'm technically not skint anymore but my bank account now says negative money. But at least this means I have a roof over my head tonight. And being helpful at dinner last week was rewarded after all -- the hostel was completely booked up, but rather than have me hare all over SF for an alternate hostel, I'm getting one of the emergency mattresses. Fine, not first class accommodation by any stretch, but at least it's a no-hassle bed for the night.

And I'm missing 7th Sea. For the third time in a row. But actually, it's just as well -- this way cholten99 won't be holding up the works for poor ol' Andy P on my behalf. There is that whole "if only one person's missing, we play anyway" rule that's been flouted this last week.

Speaking of, I seem to be starting a trend with regards to the RPG character livejournals. First there were various of mine (aidan_1668, alison_1669, purple_pagan), then there was kuo_li, but I think he'd already had the idea to do that. And now there's not only siroswold and jeremiahtomasi, but fiora_bernoulli as well! It's so bizarre.

I'll see everybody in a couple of days.

I know. How much suckage? I'd have loved to have hung around an extra day but it's my own stupid fault.

Thanks for the offer, hon, but honestly, it's all sorted on this end. I'm just a little bit peeved with myself for getting the dates wrong.

Aw... I would've been happy to have you here another day. Among other things, we'd have had time to get some cooking in, too. I'm glad you worked out something with the green tortoise though. Still... bummer. I hope you have a good day/evening up there and hope to hear from you when you get back, or sooner...
