A few things about Yuki:
1) She costs £200. Apparently she's got pedigree. But guess what? I'm ringing my mother later and, after some negotiation, Yuki will be my birthday present.
2) As you can see from the pic in my last entry, she is beyond cute.
3) She's a geek in progress. She stares at the screen and walks on the keyboard every time anyone's on the computer. It could just be that she wants to stalk the cursor, but I prefer to think of it as geek cat of geek house.
4) Cute she may be, but we're going to have to reinforce the litter training.
5) She cries when she doesn't know where people are. This is a problem because
cholten99 doesn't like her sleeping in the bedroom. I talked him into it last night but that can't last, so she'd better get used to the whole idea.
6) Through her, I have discovered that pretending you're going to be cruel to your house pet is the way of the British male. So far we've had "cat in a bag", "WD-40" and tying her to a pole and using her to clean chimneys.
All in all, though, I (okay, we) have a cat and it's okay!
