Twins?

So Parvati and Padma Patil are identical twins. Parvati's in Gryffindor, Padma's in Ravenclaw, so Padma's only ever seen in the Yule Ball bit. So when it comes time to casting Padma, you'd think they'd figure, "Okay, well, it's too late to cast twins now. So what we're going to have to do is get Shefali Chowdhury (actress playing Parvati) to double up the role with a little bit of blue-screen magic. Shouldn't be hard, and certainly no more expensive than the ghosts and Quidditch we're doing". However, they seem to have got a new actress instead. Hopefully she at least looks near-as-damnit similar to the other one. *sigh*

Right. Interview. Whee. Going to have to bring my stuff for character creation with me so I can at least make a start on the character sheets for tonight's game.

Double Booking

Proof that agencies don't have very good inter-company communications:

The agency with whom I had an interview for temp work sounded kind of familiar to me -- the address, everything. But I figured I must be mistaken, for there are many agencies on New Bond Street and I have been to a few. However, as I was putting on my jacket and getting ready to go, I found a business card in my jacket pocket. From the agency with whom I had an appointment.

So I rang the agency, asked for the person with whom I had said appointment, told them I was already registered but just wanted to be included on the temp side as well, and there you have it! I get to not have yet more testing and interview! I get to not haul myself into the city (though that's almost a shame 'cos I was thinking bento box, but lunch with dodgyhoodoo over character sheets is just as good; better because it gets stuff done and I don't have to drag myself hither, thither and yon)! And I get to have a look at the Sims 2 downloads I got the other day while dodgyhoodoo, who has the next couple of days off, is in the bath.

And I might have work next week. Yay!

I think game's going well. Well, not that we've done much yet, but at least the party is finding a modus vivendi. This is good.

Head still bad. Oh well. These things are sent to try me. I suppose doing four character sheets in a five hour period didn't help.

Tomorrow, rest. Possibly Camden. Definitely watch dodgyhoodoo play Project Zero or nag him about where my fucking column is.
