I haven't been around this weekend because, guess what? I did my knee in again! Smashed the left one (the one that got the worst of the damage in the fall the other day) against the bathroom sink getting out of the shower the other night. Pain pain pain. X-rays pending.

But now that I'm out and about again, what happens? Some woman stops me and pays me ten quid to do market research on ... wait for it ... iced coffee. Talk about easy money. Heheheh. Suckers. At least it's cash to burn while I wait on X-rays.

*confusion*

So wait...Iced tea and coffee are American things? Both are staples of US summer fare. Or, if you're from the south, all-year-round beverage options.

Is this a new thing to the UK?

i don't think it's a new thing really - it's just that there's not that many places you can get nice coffee in aberdeen (maybe starbucks? bleurgh)

i thought they were american things - i'm not sure if that's right or if they're just not that popular in the uk

It's like coffee ice cream, only a little more granular. I hate to say it, but go to Starbucks, get a Frappucino, see how you like it.
